Comedian Samay Raina, who returned with the new season of India's Got Latent just two months ago, dropped the show's first Netflix-exclusive episode on September 4, featuring actors Varun Dhawan and Medha Shankar as special guests. Netflix India shared a trailer on Thursday teasing sharp jokes about Dhawan's signature smile, with the episode quickly stirring buzz online given the show's history of going viral.

In the clip, Dhawan asks a contestant to perform, and when the participant seeks a suggestion, panelist Nishant Tanwar jokes that he could act, but questions whether Dhawan himself can. The remark leaves the panel in splits, and Dhawan takes it sportingly, calling Raina over and asking him to join the act as well.

Raina then proposes the trio act like animals, volunteering to go first. His "act" turns out to be Dhawan's own trademark side-smile, an expression that had previously gone viral for the actor. Dhawan spots the impression and joins in, flashing the same smile as the audience erupts in laughter.

In a statement, Dhawan said comedy is a genre he loves both performing and watching, adding that Raina's unpredictable style made him want to experience it live, and that he hoped Netflix audiences would enjoy the special as much as he did. Dhawan recently also shared a video with Raina on Instagram Stories, promoting his song Wow from Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, sung by Harrdy Sandhu and Kiran Bajwa, which has been popular on social media for dance reels.

With the episode set to stream on September 4, viewers can expect more of Raina’s trademark unfiltered humour and Dhawan’s willingness to play along. Whether the actor’s viral smile gets another round of attention remains to be seen, but the trailer has already set the tone for an episode built around celebrity banter and comedy.
