
Pune: In a bid to enhance the export potential of Maharashtra's industries, the state government has initiated various incentive schemes. The District Industries Centre (DIC) has taken proactive steps to ensure entrepreneurs are well-informed about these programs.
On Friday (December 13), the DIC organized a workshop titled "Maharashtra Export Convention 2024-25" at Gabriel India Company in Chakan.
The event brought together key industry stakeholders and experts to discuss export strategies, government policies, and available incentives. It was attended by entrepreneurs, exporters, industrial organizations, cooperatives, and financial institutions.
Key Highlights from the Workshop
Export Policy Insights: Joint Director of Industries Shailesh Rajput explained the state government’s export policies and assured assistance at every stage to facilitate smooth export operations.
Special Economic Zones (SEZs): Deputy Development Commissioner Mittal Hiremath elaborated on facilities and schemes available in SEZs.
Industrial Concessions: Guidance on land allocation and industrial benefits was provided by senior officials.
Export Support Services: Representatives from the Indian Postal Department and FIEO shared details about export logistics and strategies.
Agricultural Exports: APEDA and EEPC experts discussed subsidies and facilities to promote agricultural and engineering exports.
The event also addressed export challenges and provided a platform for direct dialogue between entrepreneurs and policymakers.
