Pune: With determination and the support of her family, Savita Sunil Lad from Vadgaon Anand, Junnar Taluka, has successfully secured a place in the Mumbai Police Department. Her journey of managing household responsibilities while simultaneously preparing for the rigorous police recruitment process is an inspiration for many aspiring candidates.

Savita Lad completed her primary education in Babhaleshwar, Ahilyanagar district, and pursued higher secondary education and a B.A. degree from Vikhe Patil College. In 2014, she got married to Sunil Rohidas Lad from Vadgaon Anand, Junnar Taluka. After marriage, she continued to manage her household responsibilities while striving to achieve her dream of joining the police force.

To turn her dream into reality, she enrolled in Sahyadri Career Academy in Alephata, where she dedicated herself to intense training and preparation. Her efforts paid off, as she successfully cleared the Mumbai Police recruitment exam on her very first attempt.

Savita attributes her success to the unwavering support of her father-in-law Rohidas Lad, mother-in-law Asha Lad, husband Sunil Lad, and mother Kamal Tupe. She also expressed deep gratitude toward her mentors at Sahyadri Career Academy, Mayur Dumbare and Geetaram Gaykar, whose guidance and coaching played a significant role in her achievement.

Looking forward, Savita aims to rise further in the police department. She has set her sights on becoming a senior officer and has already begun preparations for competitive examinations to advance in her career.
