
Pune: A shocking incident has come to light in Pune, where a husband was murdered by his wife and her lover. After the murder, they transported the body 55 kilometers away and dumped it in a river. However, the police managed to arrest the accused within hours.
According to reports, the deceased husband has been identified as Siddheshwar Bandu Bhise, while the accused are Yogita Siddheshwar Bhise and Shivaji Sutar. The Rajgad police have taken them into custody.
Murder Over an Illicit Affair
Yogita, who lived in Hadapsar, Pune, was allegedly involved in an extramarital relationship with Shivaji Sutar. On the night of the incident, Shivaji came to meet Yogita at midnight, which raised suspicion in Siddheshwar's mind.
A heated argument ensued between Siddheshwar, Yogita, and Shivaji, which quickly escalated into violence. In the heat of the moment, Yogita and Shivaji together murdered Siddheshwar.
After committing the crime, they stuffed the body into a sack and, at 1:30 AM, transported it on a scooter to Sarola on the Pune-Satara Road, where they dumped it into the river.
Swift Police Investigation Leads to Arrest
The police identified the deceased using the tailor tag on his shirt and, within just eight hours, successfully arrested both accused. The Rajgad police are now conducting further investigations into the case.
