Pune: Kalyani Powertrain, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge, has partnered with Taiwan’s Compal Electronics to produce X86 platform servers in India. The companies have signed a Technology Licensing Agreement, further solidified by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to advance India’s local server manufacturing capabilities.

The collaboration aligns with the Indian government’s "Make in India" initiative, aiming to establish a robust domestic ecosystem for server production. Compal Electronics will extend technological expertise to Kalyani Powertrain, guiding operations related to production, assembly, testing, and final sales.

Strengthening India’s Position in Server Manufacturing

Amit Kalyani, Vice Chairman & Joint Managing Director of Bharat Forge, said: "We are delighted to collaborate with Compal, a global leader in technological products, for server manufacturing in India.
