People living close to the location reported that smoke from the blaze could be seen from afar, raising alarm among nearby residents. According to a DFS official, the reason for the fire has not yet been determined.

Earlier today, a fire erupted at a shuttered factory in the Khushkhera industrial zone of Rajasthan's Alwar district, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals.

Preliminary reports indicated that the factory had been closed for several months, and a significant amount of cardboard was discovered in storage.

At approximately 10 am, smoke was observed emanating from within the factory, and shortly thereafter, the fire escalated into a significant inferno. Witnesses reported hearing three to four loud explosions, which incited panic. It is believed that gas cylinders stored inside the factory may have detonated, leading to the explosions. The precise origin of the fire remains undetermined.
