Mumbai-Pune Expressway Mega Block: Traffic Rerouted for Kusgaon Bridge Construction Work

Pune: The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced a three-day traffic diversion on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway to facilitate the installation of girders for a new bridge near Dongargaon-Kusgaon on the Mumbai-bound lane. The traffic block will be in effect from Wednesday, January 21, to Saturday, during specific hours.

According to MSRDC, the girder installation work will be carried out between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM each day. During this time, all traffic heading from Mumbai to Pune will be diverted. Vehicles will be rerouted via the Vavsoli Toll Plaza and directed through Dehu Road to reach Pune.

Traffic heading from Pune to Mumbai will remain unaffected and continue on the regular Expressway route. After 3:00 PM each day, the diverted traffic heading from Mumbai to Pune will be allowed to resume its usual path on the Expressway.

The MSRDC has advised motorists and passengers to note these changes and plan their travel schedules accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
