Videos circulating on social media are providing updates on the ongoing CJP protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and in other parts of the country. While some members of the film industry chose to be physically present at the protest site, others expressed their support by sharing written statements and videos online.

Actor Ananya Panday has shared her views on the Gen Z students’ protest against the NEET paper leak.
She uploaded two black-and-white photos from the demonstration: one showing a man holding a copy of the Indian Constitution and another featuring a child carrying a placard that said, “Save my future.”
In her caption, Ananya noted that Gen Z has long been labelled a lazy generation, but recent events serve as a reminder of their true character. Expressing solidarity with the students, she wrote, “Questioning isn’t disrespect. Speaking up isn’t rebellion,” and added that she hopes for a better future.
Renowned South Indian film star Kamal Haasan expressed his solidarity with the students and denounced the police brutality directed at them. He also appealed to educationist and innovator Sonam Wangchuk to call off his indefinite strike, emphasizing that Wangchuk is highly valuable to the nation.
Similarly, actor Kareena Kapoor expressed views in line with many others in the film industry. In a social media post, she emphasized the crucial role of education in a child’s life and asserted that children deserve a system they can rely on.
Kareena Kapoor Khan called for accountability toward students and demanded clear answers to all the issues they were protesting against.
The actor also posted a message backing the students’ cause and their protest over the NEET paper leak. Varun Dhawan called on the authorities to engage in dialogue with the students and work toward a just solution to the issue.
