Pune: The Pune International Airport is set to achieve a significant milestone as all international flights will shift operations to the newly inaugurated terminal starting Tuesday, December 24, 2024. This transition marks an important step in improving the travel experience for international passengers.

Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol conducted a comprehensive review of the arrangements at the new terminal on Monday. He later confirmed via social media that all technical procedures required for the transition had been completed, clearing the way for the new terminal to commence international flight operations.

Enhanced Connectivity and Capacity

The newly inaugurated terminal is expected to provide better facilities and greater operational efficiency. The airport has been witnessing a steady increase in flight operations.

Currently, over 200 flights operate during weekends, and the terminal now offers direct connectivity to 35 domestic airports and three international destinations.

Saturday Delays Addressed
