Pune: Students from G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM), Pune, have achieved a remarkable milestone by clinching the top position in the Purple Jallosh Solvathon 2025, a prestigious national-level competition.
Piyush Joshi and Rajtilak Joshi, students of the Computer Engineering Department, outshone over 100 teams from across India with their innovative solution to improve accessibility for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Their project, focusing on aiding individuals with dyslexia and dementia, received accolades for its ingenuity and practical application.
The students were awarded a cash prize of ₹35,000 and were felicitated by the Governor of Maharashtra, C.P. Radhakrishnan, at a grand ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. R.D. Kharadkar, Campus Director of GHRCEM, expressed his pride in the students’ achievement, saying, “The victory at Purple Jallosh Solvathon 2025 reflects the technical brilliance and creative thinking of our students. It is also a testament to our institution’s dedication to nurturing a culture of innovation and excellence.”
The Chairman of Raisoni Education, Sunil Raisoni, along with Shreyash Raisoni, Executive Director, and Dr. R.D. Kharadkar, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the winners.
