Pune: The National Insurance Academy (NIA), Pune, has launched its Centre for Learning in Insurance and Cyber Security, marking a pivotal step toward strengthening expertise in cyber risk and insurance.

The Centre has been established in collaboration with the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), New Delhi, with the aim of fostering research, innovation, and skill development in Cyber Security Risk Management. To provide technical expertise for ongoing and future initiatives, a leading scientist from CERT-In has been appointed as an advisor. Additionally, NIA has formalized an MoU with C3i Hub, IIT Kanpur, to drive industry-specific research in Cyber Security Risk and Insurance.

Speaking at the inauguration, B. The launch of this Centre of Learning reflects NIA’s commitment to equipping industry professionals with advanced knowledge and leadership in cyber risk management. This initiative will play a crucial role in developing a resilient framework for cyber risk assessment and insurance."
