Referring to the Pahalgam attack, Shinde said the incident where women lost their loved ones had left the nation deeply pained. "People had a desire to see the terrorists brought to justice, and through Operation Mahadev, that has been fulfilled. The Indian Army's response deserves high appreciation," he remarked.

He further stated that India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has shown that it will not tolerate cross-border terrorism. "Be it Operation Sindhur or Operation Mahadev, our forces have given a befitting reply. Terrorists responsible for attacks in Pahalgam have been neutralized. PM Modi had assured that no enemy of the country will be spared, and today, we’ve seen that resolve in action," Shinde said.
