The accident occurred late Thursday evening when a car lost control near a busy intersection in Sadashiv Peth, colliding with a group of students walking home after classes. Eyewitnesses report that the vehicle was traveling at high speed, and the impact left several students with serious injuries.
Emergency services responded swiftly, transporting the injured to a nearby hospital. Doctors have confirmed that while most students are stable, some have sustained fractures and require ongoing care.
