Pune: In a chilling incident, BJP leader and Legislative Council member Yogesh Tilekar’s maternal uncle, Satish Wagh, was abducted early Monday (December 9) morning near Phursungi Phata in Hadapsar and later found murdered.

The Pune Police have launched an extensive investigation, deploying multiple teams to track down the perpetrators.

Abduction and Discovery of Body

The abduction reportedly occurred around dawn, involving three to four unidentified individuals who forced Wagh into a four-wheeler. Hours later, his body was discovered in the jurisdiction of the Yavat Police Station, sending shockwaves across the region.

Police Investigation

Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil stated, “Pune Police have taken the murder of Satish Wagh very seriously. Sixteen teams have been dispatched to trace the accused, and technical methods are being employed in the investigation.”
