

Pune, 18th January 2026: JioStar and Warner Bros Discovery have been named official broadcast partners for the Pune Grand Tour 2026, marking the first time India’s debut UCI 2.2 multi-stage race will reach a truly global audience. The Pune Grand Tour 2026 will be streamed live in the India sub-continent on Star Sports and JioHotstar, while HBO Max and Discovery+ will cover 70+ territories across Europe. Highlights will be aired on Eurosport 1 in over 50 countries and on Eurosport Asia in 11 countries.
The Pune Grand Tour, a five-day road race event that was officially declared open on January 17 by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the opening ceremony, will begin its prologue tomorrow, January 19.
The race will feature 28 teams from across Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa, covering a demanding 437-km route through the Deccan Plateau and Sahyadri ranges. The event is expected to draw international viewership as it showcases Pune’s terrain and heritage to a global audience.
After appointing former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the goodwill ambassador for the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour 2026 last week, organisers have now confirmed broadcast partnerships with Star Sports and JioHotstar for live coverage in India. Warner Bros Discovery’s OTT platforms, HBO Max and Discovery+, will stream the race live across Europe.

The live stream will also be available globally outside India at punegrandtour.in, bringing Pune’s new cycling routes and heritage to millions. Eurosport and Eurosport Asia will air highlight packages across more than 61 countries.
Live English commentary will be led by veteran presenter Ned Boulting, joined by former Tour de France rider Graham Jones and ex-Indian cyclist Abhijit Sett. The team brings decades of racing and broadcast experience to India’s first UCI-approved cycling tour.
The Pune Grand Tour 2026 is India’s first-ever UCI 2.2 category multi-stage, five-day Continental Cycling Race for Men, marking a milestone in India’s global professional cycling presence. The 437-km route spans the Deccan Plateau and Sahyadri Ranges, featuring 171 elite riders from 29 teams across 35 countries. Organized by Pune District Administration and the Government of Maharashtra under the Cycling Federation of India, the race blends sporting excellence with Pune’s cultural heritage, historic landmarks, and rural tourism across 9 talukas and 150 villages.
