A video allegedly depicting a woman recording a social media reel inside a Vande Bharat train cabin has triggered extensive backlash online, with numerous users voicing concerns over railway safety and the reported misuse of official amenities.

In the widely circulated video, the train is shown moving through Parsabad railway station in Jharkhand, allowing viewers to better identify its route. The clip was posted on X by user Prem Bhardwaj, who asserted that the woman visible in the recording is Sarita Yadav, the spouse of a railway staffer, and alleged that multiple family members were also inside the cabin.

Tagging railway authorities and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), the user demanded an investigation into the matter. In response, the Railways asked for details such as the train number, date, time and contact information to facilitate an inquiry.

However, the complainant challenged why officials were requesting information when they could simply review the video itself.

Meanwhile, numerous social media users raised questions about the safety measures in place. Others, however, noted that the section shown in the video seemed to be the rear cabin rather than the active driver’s cabin.

The identity and position of the railway staff member involved have not yet been formally verified. Reports further indicate that the cabin featured in the video was not in use for train operations. However, railway officials may still take action if it is determined that regulations on access to restricted zones were breached.
