During his conversation with the children, Trump mentioned they wanted to “make sure that Santa is being good,” emphasizing that Santa is a very good person. Speaking to kids aged 4 to 10, he said, “We want to make sure that he’s not infiltrating, that we’re not infiltrating into our country a bad Santa,” according to reports.

In a cheerful mood, Trump made a joke about Santa, mentioning that he could continue this all day but preferred to return to more pressing matters, such as addressing Russia's conflict with Ukraine.
