Beat the Heat Experiences

1. Snow World — Near Pune Railway Station

Step into a room chilled to -15°C where it genuinely snows. They hand you a jacket, gloves, and boots at the door. Inside you get ice slides, a snowball fight zone, and a dance floor with live snowfall effects. It's small and lasts about 20–25 minutes, but it's legitimately refreshing in peak summer and worth ticking off the bucket list.

Location: 1st Floor, The Mills, Raja Bahadur City Centre, Near Pune Railway Station, Sangamwadi, Pune

Timing: 11 AM–10 PM daily

2. Ice Skating Arena — Wakad

Pune's only real ice-skating rink, run by national-level skaters who also offer beginner classes. The rink is compact, but the experience of gliding on actual ice in a Pune mall is something else entirely. Best booked on a weekday when it's less crowded. Great for a group outing, even first-timers say they had a blast.

Location: 4th Floor of the Phoenix Mall of the Millennium in Wakad, Pune

Timing: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Gaming and Activity Zones

3. SHOTT Pune — KOPA Mall, Mundhwa

The best all-round activity destination in Pune right now. Bowling, laser games, cricket simulator, full arcade, VR games, massage chairs, food, and a bar — all in one air-conditioned space. The rating speaks for itself. This is the go-to spot for a group that can't agree on just one activity because you can do five different things in a single visit.

Location: 1st Floor, KOPA Mall, Mundhwa Rd, Koregaon Park Annexe, Ghorpadi, Pune

Timing:  11:00 AM to 1:00 AM

4. PUNO Advance — Phoenix Marketcity, Viman Nagar

Inside Pune's biggest mall, PUNO has bowling, VR gaming, trampolines, arcade, and adventure zones all under one roof. There's currently a "Beat the Heat" summer offer running — spend ₹5,000 and you're entered to win appliances. Ideal if you're already planning a mall day and want to add some action to it.

Location: 3rd Floor, Phoenix Marketcity, Phoenix Road, Clover Park, Viman Nagar, Pune

Timing: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM

5. Virtual Game Rental — FC Road

The most wallet-friendly VR experience in Pune, right on FC Road near the college belt. Zombie shooters, sports sims, adventure — all in a small but well-run setup. No need to travel across the city; if you're already on FC Road grabbing chai, this makes for a spontaneous and fun add-on. Open 10 AM–10 PM.

Location: 1st floor, Fergusson College Rd, above fastrack showroom, Ganeshwadi, Shivajinagar, Pune

Timing: 10 am–10 pm

Team Activities

6. Sky Laser Tag — Creaticity Mall, Yerawada

One of Pune's highest-rated activity spots. Laser tag in a dark, maze-like arena with your squad, it gets chaotic and sweaty and absolutely hilarious. Book your slot in advance on weekends, as it fills up fast. The arena is on the smaller side so it works best for groups of 4–6.

Location: Level-02, Fountain House, CREATICITY MALL, Shastrinagar, Yerawada, Pune

Timing: noon–10 PM

7. Mystery Rooms — Koregaon Park

Immersive escape rooms with live actors, the Kohinoor heist theme and the Bomb Defuse challenge are fan favourites. Groups of 4–8 work best. You get 60 minutes to solve clues, decode puzzles, and figure your way out. The puzzles are genuinely tricky but logical, and the adrenaline when you crack a clue is real. Open 11 AM–11 PM.

Location: Lane No. 7, Out of the World Building, First Floor, Koregaon Park, Pune

Timing: 11 AM–11 PM

Action and Adventure Activities

8. Pune Kartdrome — Kharadi Bypass

Pune's biggest go-kart track with a proper professional-grade layout, sharp turns, long straights, and Pro Karts for those who want real speed. The night sessions after 7 PM are especially fun with the track lit up.

Location: Survey no 123, Bus Stop, Bypass, opposite Aple Ghar, Ahead Of, Pune International Airport Area, Kharadi, Pune

Timing: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Monday-Friday) | 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Saturday-Sunday).

9. High Octane — NIBM Undri Road

The best spot for paintball in Pune, plus go-karts, bowling, and arcade all in one complex. Great for larger groups (10+) since paintball is naturally a team sport. South Pune students especially love this one since it avoids the Viman Nagar or KP traffic entirely.

Location: Clover Hills Plaza, NIBM Undri Road, Pune

Timing: 1 PM–9:30/10 PM.

10. Jump N Joy Trampoline Park — Moshi

Wall-to-wall trampolines, a mechanical bull ride, zip line, stairway climbing, VR, and arcade — all for a very affordable price. It's a bit north of the city (Moshi, near Pimpri-Chinchwad) but the rating and the sheer variety of activities make it worth the drive. Best for a high-energy group outing where everyone just wants to bounce around and laugh.

Location: Gandharv Nagari, Tapkir Nagar, Moshi, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra 411070

Timing: 10 AM–10 PM
