
Pune, 23 June 2025: Air India has announced a temporary adjustment to its domestic and short-haul international flight schedule, cutting back less than 5% of its single-aisle aircraft operations. The move aims to strengthen network stability and reduce last-minute passenger inconvenience. The changes will remain in effect until at least 15 July 2025.

Delhi – Coimbatore: Slightly reduced to 12 flights weekly
Delhi – Goa (Dabolim): Now once daily
Delhi – Goa (Mopa): Now once daily
Delhi – Hyderabad: Reduced to 76 flights weekly
Delhi – Indore: Reduced to 14 flights weekly
Delhi – Lucknow: Reduced to 21 flights weekly
Delhi – Pune: Reduced to 54 flights weekly
Mumbai – Ahmedabad: Reduced to 37 flights weekly
Mumbai – Bengaluru: Reduced to 84 flights weekly
Mumbai – Kolkata: Reduced to 30 flights weekly
Mumbai – Coimbatore: Reduced to 16 flights weekly
Mumbai – Kochi: Reduced to 34 flights weekly
Mumbai – Goa (Dabolim): Reduced to 29 flights weekly
Mumbai – Hyderabad: Reduced to 59 flights weekly
Mumbai – Varanasi: Reduced to once daily
Despite these temporary cuts, Air India will continue to operate close to 600 flights daily on over 120 domestic and regional routes using its single-aisle fleet.
The airline has apologised to passengers for the inconvenience and is directly contacting affected travellers to provide options for alternative flights, complimentary rescheduling, or full refunds.
Air India’s revised schedule is being updated on its official website, mobile app, and through its customer service channels. The airline has assured passengers that it is committed to restoring full services as soon as possible, with safety as its top priority.
