Pune, 6th December 2025: IndiGo’s disruptions at Pune Airport continued with 14 Arriving and 28 Departing flights cancelled on Saturday, December 6. The cancellations affected arrivals from major cities including Goa, Chennai, Nagpur, Chandigarh, Patna, Guwahati, Delhi, Amritsar, Varanasi, Coimbatore and Indore.
Departures to destinations such as Jaipur, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Ranchi, Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Goa, Kochi, Lucknow, Bhopal and Ahmedabad were also cancelled, leaving many passengers unsure about their travel plans.
The Pune Airport authority said the cancellations were caused by operational disruptions within the airline. It urged passengers to contact IndiGo’s helpline before heading to the airport to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
On Friday, the airline had managed to run seven arrival and seven departure flights, but still cancelled 46 incoming and outgoing flights. The situation caused significant delays and confusion among travellers.
Airport officials said that despite the disruptions, all teams, including airlines, ground handling staff, security personnel and terminal management, were fully deployed to ensure smooth passenger movement and timely aircraft turnaround.
Authorities added that they are working closely with IndiGo to help stabilise its schedule and gradually bring operations back to normal. They also thanked passengers for their patience during the ongoing disruptions.
