

Pune, 8th May 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on Friday declared the Class 10 (SSC) examination results for February-March 2026.
This year, the overall pass percentage in the state stood at 92.09%, marking a decline of 2.01% compared to last year.
Out of 15,55,026 students who registered for the examination, 15,42,472 students appeared, and 14,20,487 successfully passed the exam. The results were announced online, bringing relief and excitement to lakhs of students and parents across Maharashtra.
Girls once again performed better than boys in the SSC examination. The pass percentage among girls was 94.96%, while boys recorded 89.56%. The performance gap between girls and boys stood at 5.40%.
Among the divisional boards, the Konkan division achieved the highest pass percentage at 97.62%. On the other hand, the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division recorded the lowest result at 88.41%.
The Pune division registered a pass percentage of 94.24%, while Mumbai recorded 94.97%. Kolhapur achieved 95.47%, Nashik 90.53%, Amravati 90.50%, Nagpur 89.07%, Latur 88.42%, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar 88.41%.
The board also declared results for regular students, repeat candidates, and differently-abled students.
