To manage the disruption, authorities have announced diversions for both directions. Vehicles heading towards Mumbai will be rerouted via Kiwale–Dehu Road and reconnected near Kusgaon toll plaza.

Similarly, Pune-bound traffic will be diverted from Kusgaon toll plaza to National Highway 48 through Dehu Road–Kiwale before proceeding towards the city.

Officials stated that the temporary block is necessary to ensure safety and maintain the quality of ongoing infrastructure work. The removal of the temporary structure and painting are critical steps in completing the bridge-related upgrades.
