The impact of the accident was felt sharply on Monday morning, the first working day of the week. Ganeshkhind Road is a key route leading towards Hinjewadi IT Park, and traffic movement slowed drastically. Commuters reported that journeys which usually take just a few minutes stretched to 40–50 minutes due to long vehicle queues.

Traffic police personnel were deployed to manage the congestion and restore smooth movement. Ongoing flyover construction work in the area has already narrowed road space, making traffic jams a regular issue. The accident further worsened the situation, leaving many Pune residents frustrated during peak hours.
