Pune, 1st August 2025: In a bid to support dairy farmers affected by rising fuel prices, costlier cattle feed, and declining milk production, the Pune District Cooperative Milk Producers Federation has decided to raise the cow milk procurement price by ₹1 per litre. The new rates come into effect from midnight of July 31.

Starting August 1, 2025, the federation will pay ₹33 per litre for cow milk with 3.5% fat and 8.5% SNF (solids-not-fat) to individual farmers. For affiliated societies, the rate including overheads will be ₹33.80 per litre.
