Pune, 30th September 2026: Traffic through Dive Ghat will remain completely closed for two hours for today to facilitate blasting work as part of the ongoing road-widening project between Hadapsar and Dive Ghat.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is carrying out road-widening work in the ghat section, which involves cutting the hillside. Blasting will be conducted on Wednesday to facilitate the work.
As a safety measure, all types of vehicles will be barred from using the Dive Ghat route between 12 pm and 2 pm. Commuters and motorists have been advised to use alternative routes during this period to avoid inconvenience.
The traffic police and NHAI have appealed to motorists to take note of the temporary restrictions and cooperate with the authorities.
Traffic movement through Dive Ghat is expected to return to normal after 2 pm, once the scheduled work is completed.
