Pune, 3rd March 2026: International flight services from Pune to Dubai and Abu Dhabi have remained suspended for the fourth consecutive day due to ongoing instability in the region and the continued closure of Dubai’s airspace for international operations.

From Pune, two flights operate daily to Dubai and one to Abu Dhabi under normal schedules. However, services have been temporarily halted as authorities have not reopened the airspace, leading airlines to cancel departures.

Meanwhile, the Pune district administration received information that 123 citizens from the district were stranded in Dubai between March 1 and 2. Officials established telephonic contact with all of them and confirmed that they are safe.

Authorities have released contact details of Indian embassies in the affected countries to assist citizens. Overseas residents from Pune have been advised to remain calm, follow official guidelines, and immediately contact the embassy if any assistance is required.
