Pune, 14th August 2026: An accident took place at Katraj Chowk in Pune on Thursday evening after the brakes of a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) bus reportedly failed near Reliance Digital.

According to preliminary information, the brake failure caused the driver to lose control of the bus. The bus then hit four to five vehicles on the road, causing significant damage to the vehicles.

Two people reportedly suffered minor injuries in the accident. No serious injuries or fatalities have been reported so far.
