As part of the NI works, a total of 26 suburban train services will be cancelled, including 13 trains in the UP (Lonavala to Pune) direction and 13 in the Down (Pune to Lonavala) direction. The frequently used Pune-Talegaon local trains will also remain cancelled for the entire day.

Some of the key affected services include Pune-Lonavala trains 99802, 99804, 99806 and Lonavala-Pune trains 99801, 99803, 99807. In addition, all suburban and express trains will skip halts at Khadki station during the block period, leaving regular passengers dependent on nearby stations for boarding and de-boarding.

The NI block will be implemented from midnight of July 13 and will continue until 5 PM the same day. A critical five-hour traffic block has been scheduled from 12 noon to 5 PM, impacting not just local trains but also several long-distance express services.

Major express trains will be delayed, with the CSMT-MAS Express (22159) running one hour late, Pune-CSMT Express (11008) delayed by one and a half hours, LTT-COA Express (17222) by 30 minutes, and CSMT-TVC Express (16331) by a significant two hours. The DD-INDB Express (22943) is also expected to be delayed by 1.5 hours.

Furthermore, changes in origin and termination points of select trains have been announced. The 11030 Kolhapur-CSMT Express will terminate at Pune on July 12, while its return journey, the 11029 CSMT-Kolhapur Express, will begin from Pune on July 13. These operational adjustments are aimed at minimizing the impact on long-distance travellers during the crucial window of the block.
