The work will include repairs related to electrical systems, pumping stations, and civil infrastructure at multiple key water facilities across the city.
As a result, water supply will remain suspended for 24 hours, from midnight on Wednesday to midnight on Thursday. The disruption will also impact areas under booster pumping systems in newly merged villages.
Major facilities where maintenance work will be carried out include Parvati and Old Parvati water treatment plants, Vadgaon water center, Rajiv Gandhi pumping station, Cantonment water center, Warje and Holkar water centers, Khadakwasla jackwell and related phases, Bhama Askhed water facility, and several storage and pumping locations across the city.
According to the PMC water supply department, residents should expect water supply to resume on Friday (April 17), but it will be delayed and at low pressure.
