The India Meteorological Department has forecast similar conditions for Tuesday, with Pune’s minimum temperature likely to stay around 18°C. The persistent clouds are expected to keep the cold from settling in.

Along with the rise in temperature, air quality has become a major concern. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Pune’s Air Quality Index has touched 158, a level classified as unhealthy. Residents may experience discomfort, especially those with respiratory conditions.
