Pune: A 30-year-old widowed woman filed complaint against a 29-year-old man alleging that he violated her several times on the pretext of marriage after the two had met through Tinder dating app. The incident happened between June 12 to September 24, 2020 during the lockdown period in the city.

According to the complaint filed by the woman, the sexual assaults happened at JD Paradise in Tathawade, Stay-Inn hotel in Punawale, Comfort Executive Hotel in Marunji and Aditi Inn hotel at Hinjawadi during the lockdown period of June to September 2020.

Police Sub-Inspector Sangeeta Gode from Wakad police station said, "The complainant woman is currently unemployed and looking for a job. Her husband had died in an accident recently.
