Dipke said students had previously held a large protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, but claimed that the government has yet to engage in meaningful discussions on the issue. He also alleged that several social media accounts of protesters were restricted during the agitation.

The protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and a comprehensive overhaul of the examination system. According to the organisers, if no action is taken, larger demonstrations will be held in cities such as Lucknow, Jaipur, and Bengaluru. Another protest has also been planned in New Delhi on June 20.

Dipke argued that accepting responsibility for the examination controversies is necessary to restore public trust. He said the government should acknowledge mistakes in the system and take corrective measures to ensure fair and transparent examinations for students across the country.
