AI Impact Summit 2026: The AI Impact Summit 2026 began in New Delhi on 16th February, placing India at the heart of the global artificial intelligence conversation. The summit, one of the largest AI gatherings ever held in the Global South, has drawn world leaders, tech innovators, and delegations from leading AI companies.

Among the prominent attendees are French President Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, highlighting the summit’s international significance and India’s growing influence in shaping the future of AI. More than 500 sessions are scheduled across five days, concentrating on AI safety, governance, ethical application, data protection, and India's strategy towards sovereign AI.

Many heads of state will be attending the summit. Alongside them, ministerial delegations from over 45 countries, the UN Secretary-General, and senior officials from several international organisations will also participate in the summit. The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that the following global leaders are attending the AI Summit at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani, Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman are among the prominent figures set to attend the summit. More than 500 sessions are scheduled over five days, with discussions centred on AI safety, governance, ethical deployment, data protection, and India’s vision for sovereign AI.
