Amazfit has launched the Helio Strap Pro, a dedicated fitness wearable designed primarily for serious athletes and functional fitness enthusiasts, with a particular focus on HYROX, the rapidly growing competitive fitness race format that combines running with functional workout stations.
Design and Form Factor
The Helio Strap Pro is a standalone strap-style wearable rather than a traditional watch, designed to be worn on the upper arm. The form factor allows for more accurate motion tracking during high-intensity movements where wrist-based sensors can lose accuracy, particularly relevant for exercises like rowing, skiing, and weighted carries that feature in HYROX competitions.
Key Features
The device tracks over 160 workout modes and offers dedicated HYROX race simulation, providing athletes with real-time pacing guidance, station-by-station performance breakdowns, and post-workout recovery analysis. It monitors heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and a range of biomechanical metrics including stride length, cadence, and vertical oscillation during running.
The Helio Strap Pro also incorporates Amazfit's Zepp OS platform, enabling third-party app support, and connects to the Zepp app on both Android and iOS for detailed performance analytics and training load management.
Battery life is rated at up to 12 days in standard usage and approximately 20 hours in continuous GPS mode, sufficient for full-day HYROX events and extended training blocks.
Price and Availability
The Amazfit Helio Strap Pro is priced at $249 globally. India launch details and local pricing have not yet been confirmed by Amazfit, though the brand has been expanding its Indian retail presence steadily through both online and offline channels. Further availability details are expected to be announced shortly.
