Several major websites hosted on Cloudflare became unreachable on Friday, marking the second outage in just three weeks. Platforms such as Canva, BookMyShow, LinkedIn, Notion, Groww, SpaceX, Zerodha, and Coinbase were affected and even the outage tracker Downdetector went down.
Users worldwide reported widespread disruptions, flooding X with complaints as many services became temporarily inaccessible. The previous Cloudflare outage on November 18 saw many AI platforms becoming inaccessible in India. While OpenAI's ChatGPT remains accessible, Claude.AI is not. Canva and Groww have released statements indicating that their CDN provider, Cloudflare, is facing issues.
The outage also impacted trading platforms Groww and Zerodha, but Zerodha announced that its Kite services are now completely operational again. "Cloudflare global outage resolved. Kite services have been restored. You can now trade normally. We regret the inconvenience caused," Zeordha stated.
