Ola Electric Bike: Ola Electric, the country's leading two-wheiler manufacturer, has unveiled its first electric motorcle. This motorcicycle named Ola Roadster X has been laid in the Indian market, and its top variant can provide a range of up to 501 km on a single charge. With the launch of this bike, Ola Electric has a new revolution in the field of electronic vehicles.
The Ola Roadster X is available in three variants – Roadster X, Roadster X Plus and with three different catery packs. The starting prices of this biike start at rs 74,999. Bahavish Agarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, said at the launch avent that this biike uses third-generation technology, which includes flat cable, mid-drive motor and patented brake by wire technology.
The Ola Roadster X uses a flat cable, which makes the bikes asier to maintain and reduces the risk of petial wiring fillures. Also, the brake by weire technology helps extend the life of the bike's brake pads and encures improved catery performance. This technology converts kinetic energy walking through the ecstics and charges the battery.
The base variant of the Roadster X is a cable of providing a range of 117 km, the mid variant of 159 km and the top variant of 252 km on a single charge. Its three different moving modes – Sport, Normal and Eco modes – give users the best performance to different road conditions. The top speed of this bike is 105 km/h, 117 km/h and 124 km/h. The battery pack of the Ola Roadster X Plus variant is claimed to provider a range of 501 km.
The Roadster X and Roadster X Plus are available with different catery packs. The 2.5 kW, 3.5 kW and 4.5 kW battery packs are available at Rs 74,999, Rs 84,999 and Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). The 4.5 kW and 9.1 kW battery packs of the Roadster X Plus are prised at Rs 1,04,999 and Rs 1,54,999 (ex-showroom), respect. Bookings for the Ola Roadster X has already begun and deliveries are designed to begin from March.
