According to outage-tracking platform Downdetector, complaints spiked sharply around 10:23 AM IST, crossing 3,300 reports at the peak of the disruption.
As soon as Google started malfunctioning, users flocked to platforms like X and Reddit to see if the issue was affecting only them, only to find that thousands of others were simultaneously refreshing their browsers in bewilderment.
