B by Lenskart smart glasses: Price & Availability

The B by Lenskart smart glasses are being offered at an early access price of Rs 22,000 (approximately $230), down from their listed price of Rs 27,000 (around $285). They are available in Black and Silver variants and include a charging case in the package.

The product is currently accepting waitlist registrations, suggesting a staggered launch. With capabilities such as real-time AI assistance, support for multiple languages, note-taking, and hands-free capture, it is positioned as more than a conventional wearable accessory.

The B by Lenskart smart glasses are designed to look like regular eyewear and come in both clear lens and sunglasses variants, with a slightly thicker frame housing internal hardware and a built-in front camera.

  • Powered by the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip with 32GB storage, they support Bluetooth 5.3 and work with Android and iOS devices.

  • Positioned as an AI-first wearable, the glasses feature a 12MP camera for 1080p video and integrate Google Gemini for voice commands, object recognition, notes, and multilingual support.

  • Battery life lasts around 4 hours on the glasses, extended up to 48 hours with the case, plus fast charging that reaches 50% in about 15 minutes.

  • Priced lower than Meta Platforms Ray-Ban smart glasses in India, they offer similar core features but with trade-offs in camera quality, battery life, and ecosystem depth.

B by Lenskart Smart Glasses: Special Features

1. Google Gemini 2.5 Live AI Assistant

The Hey Buddy AI assistant runs on Google Gemini 2.5 Live and can be activated by voice, responding through built-in open-ear speakers. It processes both visual and audio inputs together, letting users ask questions about what they’re seeing in real time. It also supports Indian languages like Hindi and Tamil for live translation and everyday use.

2. Hands-Free UPI Payments

This is the defining feature that distinguishes B by Lenskart from all imported smart glasses available today. Simply point at a QR code, confirm with a voice command, and the payment is completed without ever touching your phone. UPI payments were integrated into the product from the outset, as India is its main target market.

3. Prescription Lens Support

Using Lenskart’s network of over 2,000 retail outlets across India, you can have prescription lenses fitted into B smart glasses as conveniently as buying standard eyeglasses. This offers a major benefit compared with imported options.
