These advanced AR glasses are designed to enhance machine perception, egocentric AI, and robotics research, offering a range of innovative features that set them apart from their predecessors.

Enhanced Sensor Suite:
Aria Gen 2 boasts an upgraded array of sensors, including an RGB camera, 6DOF SLAM cameras, eye tracking cameras, spatial microphones, IMUs, barometer, magnetometer, and GNSS. Notably, it adds a Photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor for heart rate monitoring and a contact microphone to isolate the wearer's voice from ambient noise.
Custom Silicon and AI Processing:
Powered by Meta's custom-designed chip, Aria Gen 2 supports on-device processing for AI tasks such as eye tracking, hand tracking, and speech recognition. This capability ensures efficient data processing and reduces latency.
Improved Battery Life:
The glasses offer six to eight hours of continuous use, making them suitable for extended research sessions. They weigh just 75 grams and feature foldable arms for enhanced portability
Audio Experience:
Aria Gen 2 includes open-ear, force-canceling speakers, providing an immersive audio experience without blocking ambient sounds
