Tesla Set to Open Its Second India Showroom in Delhi’s Aerocity
Tesla is set to accelerate its presence in India by launching its second official showroom, located in the upscale Aerocity district of New Delhi. This move follows the successful debut of Tesla’s first Indian experience center in Mumbai and highlights the company's commitment to India's rapidly evolving electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
The new showroom is housed in a premium, 4,000-square-foot space within Aerocity; one of Delhi’s most modern business and hospitality hubs, adjoining the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
This strategic placement targets affluent neighborhoods, high-flying executives, and international visitors, positioning Tesla front and center for influential Indian consumers and global travelers alike.
Alongside expanding its reach, Tesla has launched nationwide bookings for its popular Model Y crossover SUV:
Standard Rear-Wheel Drive: ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom)
Long Range RWD: ₹67.89 lakh (ex-showroom)
Both variants arrive in India as Completely Built Units (CBUs) and boast a WLTP-certified range of up to 622km, a top speed of 201km/h, and strong acceleration (0–100km/h in 5.6–5.9 seconds).
Buyers can choose additional options, such as Full Self-Driving capability and premium paint or interior colors. The vehicles cater to tech-savvy and eco-conscious urban consumers seeking premium performance and style.
Tesla’s focus on major urban touchpoints is a calculated move to capture the rising demand for luxury EVs in India. The Aerocity showroom complements Tesla’s growing support infrastructure, which includes:
A warehouse in Mumbai’s Kurla
An engineering office in Pune
Corporate headquarters in Bengaluru
This multi-city presence demonstrates Tesla’s intention not just to sell vehicles, but to establish long-term operational strength within the country.
As India races towards cleaner, sustainable transportation, Tesla’s latest showroom at Delhi’s Aerocity marks a major milestone. With strong consumer interest, high-profile locations, and advanced EV technology on offer, Tesla is poised to shape the roadmap for luxury electric mobility in India; starting with the heart of its capital.
