Vivo’s X500 series has surfaced in the leak cycle through details shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, outlining alleged specifications of the standard model. The reported information covers display, battery, chipset, camera hardware, and lineup structure, and remains unconfirmed by Vivo.
The Vivo X500 is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch flat display, compared to the 6.31-inch panel on the X300. The device is also expected to include a 7,500mAh battery. Reports suggest that all models in the X500 series may feature batteries rated at 7,000mAh or higher.
Leaks indicate the X500 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, instead of the Dimensity 9600.
On the imaging front, the X500 is tipped to carry a 50MP primary sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor size, a configuration that should deliver strong low-light performance. A periscope telephoto lens is also expected, which could be the same 64MP periscope lens rumoured for the X500 Pro. Vivo's X300 was widely praised for its versatile camera system, and the X500 appears set to continue that focus.
The X500 series is shaping up to be Vivo's most varied flagship range to date. In addition to the standard X500 and X500 Pro, leaks point to an X500e, an X500 Pro Max, and a Pro Mini variant in a more compact 6.3-inch size. With the lineup expanding across price and size segments, the standard X500 appears to be repositioning itself as the accessible flagship, leaving the Pro and Pro Max to carry the premium end.
No official launch date or pricing has been confirmed for the Vivo X500 series. Given that Vivo typically unveils its X-series flagship lineup in China before bringing it to global markets including India, a late 2026 announcement is the most likely scenario based on the brand's historical release cadence. All specifications remain unconfirmed until Vivo makes an official announcement.
