Pune: Regional airline FLY91 is set to launch new daily flights connecting Pune with Goa and Jalgaon, effective from October 27.

These routes are expected to increase convenience and connectivity for residents of Pune, a growing hub for technology, education, and industry, particularly as travel surges during Diwali.

The Pune-Goa route will cater to students, leisure travelers, and MICE tourism, with Goa continuing to rank as a leading destination for both business and pleasure.

The Pune-Jalgaon route aims to stimulate business and academic travel while supporting tourism to the famed Ajanta and Ellora Caves, UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in Jalgaon.

The announcement highlights FLY91's commitment to building robust air connectivity for tier 2 and tier 3 cities across the country.

“Better regional connectivity will foster economic growth in these areas,” said FLY91 CEO Manoj Chacko, who sees this expansion as part of a broader strategy to link underserved regions, driving prosperity and opportunity.

In addition to these new routes, FLY91 will maintain its Pune-Sindhudurg service, which operates twice weekly.

The airline, based at Manohar International Airport in Goa, currently connects cities in Maharashtra and Lakshadweep with Hyderabad and other key regional centers.

FLY91, managed by Just Udo Aviation Private Limited and headquartered in Goa, focuses on connecting smaller Indian cities with a fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft, which are well-suited for efficient regional operations.

The airline plans to expand to over 50 cities in the next five years, aiming to play a pivotal role in enhancing last-mile air connectivity across India.
