Pune: Peninsula Land Limited (PLL), a subsidiary of the Ashok Piramal Group, has recently launched Peninsula Centre, marking the arrival of Gahunje’s first organised commercial retail development.

Strategically located near the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the project has attracted significant interest, with over 70% of the retail units sold during its launch phase.

Positioned just 60 feet from the main road and in proximity to prominent residential projects such as AddressOne and AshokVann, Peninsula Centre is set to become a key retail destination in the Gahunje-Mamurdi corridor.

This area, which has previously lacked organised retail options, is now witnessing rapid growth, largely driven by new residential and educational developments.

The three-storey commercial complex features 52 modern retail spaces, ranging from 222 to 305 square feet, designed to accommodate diverse business needs.

In addition to customisable spaces, the development boasts wide passageways, ample parking facilities, and robust security measures, ensuring a smooth experience for both retailers and customers. The demand for these units has been notably high, with over 70% of the inventory sold upon launch.

Siddharth Setia, President - Business Development, Project Design, and Revenue at Peninsula Land Limited, stated, “With the growing residential communities in the region, there is a pressing need for organised retail spaces.

Peninsula Centre is designed to meet this demand by offering businesses a prime location while simultaneously enhancing the shopping experience for local residents. We also have plans for future commercial developments to support the continued growth in the area.”

Peninsula Centre is expected to become a central hub for commerce in the fast-expanding Gahunje-Mamurdi region, bridging the gap between modern retail and the needs of the local population. The project is poised to boost the local economy and provide a convenient shopping experience for residents.
