The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has indicated that it may take up the issue of alleged examination paper leaks in Punjab following the conclusion of its 36-day agitation over the NEET-UG paper leak.

Speaking on Sunday, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said the organisation was preparing its next course of action. "We will announce the future strategy soon. Please give us a little time. We will address that too; we are currently planning for it," Dipke said.

He added that the party is also holding discussions with the government regarding FIRs registered against students who participated in the protests. "No cases should be registered against any student," he said.

The CJP called off its protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar after the Centre accepted its demands, including the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Referring to the outcome of the agitation, Dipke said, "This is just a beginning. The Cockroach Janta Party has a long way to go."

Punjab Paper Leak

Attention has now turned to Punjab, where allegations of multiple examination paper leaks have led to political criticism of the state government. Among the cases cited by opposition parties are the Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test (PTET), the Class 12 English examination, and the pharmacy officer recruitment examination conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

The pharmacy recruitment examination, held on July 19 to fill 454 pharmacist posts, has drawn allegations of organised cheating.

Following the conclusion of the NEET-UG protests, opposition leaders have questioned whether the CJP would raise similar demands over the alleged irregularities in Punjab. While Dipke confirmed that the matter is under consideration, he did not announce any specific programme or timeline for future protests.
