Bollywood and TV actress Sheeba talks about how fitness is a part of her lifestyle
Sheeba Akashdeep who is currently seen playing a significant role in Sony TV’s Haasil, is also a familiar face in films. She shot to fame when she featured in the song Aja Meri Gaadi Mein Baith Ja alongside Baba Sehgal which became a popular track in the ‘90s.
The Hum Hain Kamaal Ke actress is also known for her fitness and dedication towards leading a healthy and fit life. Here’s a sneak peek into her fitness regimen.
What is the secret behind your fit and healthy body?
The consistency of exercise since I was 13 years old. It’s not something done sporadically; it’s a lifestyle.
What kind of physical fitness regime do you follow, to stay in shape?
Yoga, dance and weight training.
For how many hours do you break a sweat at the gym and how many days in a week?
One and a half hours at the gym everyday. I do yoga and weight training.
What is the first and the last drink of your day?
My morning starts with methi water and the last drink of the day is plain water.
What does your diet consist of?
My diet consists of black rice, sprouts, and whole grains. I am a vegetarian, so my food consists of a lot of vegetables.
Between hectic work schedule and erratic working hours, how do you manage to eat healthy?
I carry home-cooked food which includes fruits, salads, green tea, carrots and cucumber. I eat whenever there’s time or when I feel hungry.
What do you eat on your cheat days?
On my cheat day, I indulge in Philadelphia Cheesecake.
