Director Sujoy Ghosh is all set for his debut on television with the launch of his three short features — Teen Pehliyan. In collaboration with Star Plus, Teen Pehliyan is a combination of three movies —  Mirchi Malini, Copy, and Goodluck — which features popular actors from Bollywood. 

Surveen Chawla, who is part of the short features, says that working with Sujoy is a dream come true. In an interview she shared, “It is hard to believe but I had called Sujoy Da some two years ago to seek an opportunity in his then upcoming projects but never got a response from him.”

She further added, “When I lost all hopes to get a revert, suddenly after two years, I got a call from his office and he asked me to come in for a narration for his short film, Copy and I was ecstatic! I am really grateful to him for calling me and thinking that I would be apt for the role. Copy will really enthrall the viewers with its twists and turns.”

Teen Pehliyan will be screened on Star Plus on April 29 from 1 pm onwards.
