Phil Dunphy of Modern Family
Phil Dunphy is the father of three children, Haley, Alex, and Luke. He describes himself as the ‘cool dad’. He is the ideal father figure. A devoted family man, he constantly tries to find ways to bond with his children, which quite often does not go as planned. His attitude towards parenting, is something he calls ‘peer-enting” based on the idea of bonding with your children like friends. Modern Family airs on Star World.

Homer Simpson from The Simpsons
Homer Simpson is lazy, self-absorbed, and quite honestly, sometimes he tends to be a prick. But when it comes to being a father to Bart, Lisa and baby Maggie, and maintaining his stature as their hero, he will go to the ends of the world to make sure they’re happy. When he feels like he has let one of his children down, it affects him and he does anything in his power to remedy the situation. The Simpsons airs on Star World.

Jack Pearson from This is Us
Even though he deals with problems such as alcoholism, Pearson works through them to give the best to his kids. His ultimate sacrifice is when he dies trying to save his daughter’s dog in a house fire. This is Us airs on Amazon Prime.

Ross Geller from Friends
Ross is a unique father owing to his dorkiness. He is also very hands on father. He never shies away from diaper duty or making the most of the time he gets to spend with his son. He also helps Rachel throughout her pregnancy making sure she is taken care of, and kept comfortable. Friends airs on Comedy Central.

Ray Barone from Everybody Loves Raymond
He plays a hapless dad in the series. However, he would do anything for his children. As seen in one episode, he buys his 13-year-old daughter a dress worth 250$ for a party, even though the price tag is well beyond his means. Everybody Loves Raymond airs on Zee Café.

Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother
Ted Mosby is the quintessential nice guy. He is more a friend to his children than a dad because he confides every detail of his life (sometimes a little too much) to them. He is oblivious to the art of brevity, and spends nine seasons telling his kids a long, winding, and often tangential, story about how he met their mother.  Still, from his stories you know he’s an eternal optimist, a good friend, a die-hard romantic and most importantly, a lovable dad. How I Met Your Mother airs on Star World.
