A fairytale wedding: Dia Mirza ties the knot with entrepreneur Vaibhav Rekhi

Actor Dia Mirza and beau Vaibhav Rekhi had a fairytale wedding on Monday. Earlier in the day, the Sanju actress has taken to social media to share a few pictures of her bridal shower with her girl gang and a lovely picture of her ‘pyaar’ ki mehendi!

In wedding photographs and videos shared by the couple’s friends and family, Dia looks gorgeous in a red Banarasi saree, with a red dupatta and traditional wedding jewellery. The actress tied her hair in a bun covered with gajra. Meanwhile, Dia’s better half – Vaibhav – looks dapper in a white kurta churidar, white jacket, and a golden dupatta.

In one video, the bride walking towards the wedding mandap while another set of photos show the bride and groom seated for the wedding.

Aditi Rao Hydari shared a cute picture of her and Vaibhav on her status, that said, “Father and I”. Further suggesting that she’s team groom, Aditi shared another picture with Vaibhaiv’s juttis, with a caption, “Always got your back father.”

The actress also offered a box full of sweets to the paparazzi present at the wedding.

The wedding was an intimate affair with only close friends and relatives of the couple in attendance. Industry colleagues like Aditi Rao Hydari, Jackky Bhagnani, and Gautam Gupta were clicked at the wedding.

Post the wedding ceremony the newly-wed couple stepped out to pose for the shutterbugs. The actor distributed sweets to the photographers that had been waiting to capture a glimpse of the Dia and Vaibhav for hours.

Dia is known for her roles in Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Dum, Sanju, and Thappad. She was reportedly in a relationship with Vaibhav for some time during the pandemic-induced lockdown, but the couple never went public with it.
