Actor Asif Basra dies by suicide in Dharamshala

Bollywood actor Asif Basra died by suicide in Dharamshala on Thursday. The 53-year-old actor was reportedly found hanging at the complex. The reason for the suicide is not yet known.

An investigation into the matter is underway. "Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. Forensic team is at the spot and police is investigating the matter" ANI quoted SSP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan as saying.

Asif Basra was a well-known actor Bollywood and television industry. Apart from 'Jab We Met' and 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai', he starred in films like 'Black Friday', 'Kai Po Che', 'Krrish 3', 'Ek Villain', Paatal Lok to name a few.
