Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' teaser unveiled; Slated to release on July 30

Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi teaser got a shout-out from B-Town’s big wigs.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali launched the teaser of his upcoming Alia Bhatt-starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi on Wednesday. Teasing his and Alia Bhatt’s fans on his birthday, the filmmaker released the one-minute-thirty-second-long teaser on the official website of his production house.

Alia, too, shared the teaser on Instagram. Garnering a lot of praise from the netizens, Gangubai Kathiawadi's teaser got a shout-out from B-Town’s big wigs too!

Alia had a special wish for the director, who wrote on her Instagram account, " Happy Birthday Sir.. I can think of no better way to celebrate you and your birthday Presenting a part of my heart & soul. Meet .. Gangu! (sic)".

The filmmaker posted the teaser on the home page of Bhansali Productions with the caption, "She rose in power and embraced life in her own way. Celebrating this art of a woman and the man who promises, yet another stern-winding story of #gangubaikathawadi."

The film is Bhansali's 10th directorial and is set to release on July 30. Based on one of the chapters of S Hussain Zaidi's book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai - Gangubai Kathiawadi - also stars Ajay Devgn in a special appearance.
